Thank you for visiting our web page today. I have been with the Herb Gordon Group for over 19 years and have been managing the Subaru store since 2002. We have the best team of Certified Sales Professionals that create a low pressure environment to buy a New or Pre-Owned vehicle. As well as offering FREE loaner cars we have the best service and parts department headed up by Mike Schildt Sr. Mike and I have worked together for a long time now and have created great relationships with our clients. Please come in and see how buying a new car can be an enjoyable experience. We are open a few Sundays a year and I sometimes bring my dog WRX (Rex) in. Yes my wife and I named him after a Subaru. We just adopted him in August of 2008 and he has been a lot of fun. Since then we adopted a second dog named cooper in April of 2009 so now he has a playmate I enjoy kayaking and cycling so when it comes to Subaru accessories I can help you with making the right selection. - Welcome to Herb Gordon Subaru. My Maryland ancestry goes back 11 generations, although I was actually raised in Illinois, went to school in Ohio, and have lived in Florida, China, and the Philippines. I am active in several non-profit organizations, both locally and nationally, and I enjoy traveling, outdoor activities, cooking, theater, and genealogy. I have several years' experience with Subaru, and have been to the Subaru plant to study the cars being built literally from ground up. I have twice been awarded Subaru's "Big Dog" product knowledge award competing with representatives of dealerships from throughout the mid-Atlantic area. My job is to give you the information that you need, without any pressure and on your timetable, and then make the entire buying process just as easy and as straightforward as possible. I am extremely proud to be a part of the Herb Gordon Subaru/ Mile One organization. Actually, my automotive career began at Herb Gordon Auto World about twenty-five years ago. I remained with the Company in one management position or another for about five years. In subsequent years I was presented with opportunities to advance my sales and management skills with several other successful high line automobile distributors.
During the course of my career I have always been highly selective regarding the integrity of the dealerships and the quality of Automotive Franchises with whom I chose to associate. Herb Gordon and Subaru top the list. In 2005 I returned to Herb Gordon Subaru, as a Sales Representative.
I have been around long enough to know what I don't know. My goal has always been to listen to my clients, answer their questions honestly, and assist them in making an intelligent buying decision.
My special interests include bicycling, hiking and cooking.
