For 2023, the Subaru Ascent has the same excellent powertrain that came in previous models. You'll get a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that's capable of pumping out 260 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. New for 2023 is Dual-Function X-Mode, an available feature that introduces additional settings for Snow/Dirt and Deep Snow/Mud so you can get amazing traction and control no matter what type of weather you're traveling through.  

Refreshed Design
