There may be no hotter automaker in the world right now than Subaru of America, a company that’s been breaking all sorts of records since the year’s beginning. Led by a standout lineup of classy, versatile vehicles like the Subaru Outback, Subaru Impreza, and Subaru Forester near Rockville, MD, Subaru of America has set the auto industry on fire.
The Subaru Outback and the Subaru Forester, two dynamite models, along with the Subaru Crosstrek, each had their best-ever October. The Subaru Outback led the charge, selling 18,008 units in October 2016 – a gigantic 22.3% year-over-year (YOY) increase over October 2015. And close behind were the Subaru Forester and Subaru Crosstrek, the latter of which sold 8,367 units in October ’16, bettering its October ’15 number by 14.4%.
Here are a couple of jaw-dropping stats for you: the Subaru Outback has now sold more than 10,000 units in 32 consecutive months, and the Subaru Forester has sold more than 10,000 units for 39 months straight. Consider these numbers and let them sink in for a second. Consumers have more automobile choices than ever, and yet these two models have again and again proven their worth and value to car buyers nationwide. Simply astounding. Not surprisingly, Subaru of America has scored 59 consecutive months of yearly month-over-month (MOM) growth, and also posted its own record October, with sales up 4.1% over October 2015. In October 2016, Subaru of America sold a whopping 53,760 units, adding to a 2016 yearly total of 500,647 vehicles, which is up 4.2% YOY from 2015.
