Herb Gordon Subaru Supports Local Organization in the Annual "Share the Love" Event

MileOne Automotive proudly recognizes  Herb Gordon Subaru for their participation in the annual "Share the Love" event, raising roughly $7,600 for Holy Cross Homecare and Hospice in Silver Spring, Maryland.

For the past six years, Subaru of America has organized an annual "Share the Love" event where $250 of every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased is donated to a nonprofit. Customers who purchase or lease a vehicle during this period select one of five national charities, or a local charity selected by the dealership, to receive the donation.

Herb Gordon Subaru was honored to participate in the "Share the Love" event again this year and took extra steps to get one of their local charities registered as an option. This was the first year Herb Gordon Subaru has registered their own charity, and they selected Holy Cross Homecare and Hospice in Silver Spring, Maryland. This organization offers home-based care and hospice services for the elderly, new mothers, individuals recovering from surgery, or those who require long-term assistance for chronic illness. Herb Gordon Subaru was proud to support Holy Cross and ended up raising around $7,600 to donate during the November 21, 2013 - January 3, 2014 "Share the Love" event.

"This event makes us very proud every year," said Subaru chief marketing officer Dean Evans. "Having given $35 million to diverse and worthy causes both at national and local levels means Subaru owners and retailers are making a real difference in their communities." Herb Gordon Subaru agrees, and is honored to support the work of its' own neighboring charity for the first time during the 2013 event.

Herb Gordon Subaru offers an inventory of new, pre-owned, and certified pre-owned vehicles, along with a full service center. The dealership is part of the MileOne Automotive Group and is located at 3161 Automobile Blvd, Silver Spring, MD 20904.
