If you’re interested in a Subaru lease, odds are you’re curious about how many miles you can put on the vehicle during the term. We’re passionate about transparency with our customers at Herb Gordon Subaru and are here to answer all your questions and curiosities in full.
The Basics of a Subaru Lease
Before we get into the details of mileage caps on a lease, we figured it’d be smart to first cover what to expect when you lease a Subaru. When you visit our showroom to sign up for an auto lease, you’re essentially agreeing to be the vehicle’s temporary owner.
On average, leases last anywhere between 12 to 24 months. Throughout the lease, you’ll be expected to pay the depreciation of the value of the vehicle every month. Once the lease is over, you’ll also be expected to return the vehicle to the dealership, or agree to finance for the remaining value.
That being said, during an auto lease, you’ll need to keep the car within a specific mileage range.
Lease Mileage Caps
In terms of leases at our dealership, we can be quite flexible, allowing you to customize the fine details of your lease agreement.
However, all lease mileage limits tend to fall between 10,000-15,000 miles per year. If you’re looking to get some real range out of your vehicle though, you can tweak that mileage cap up to 30,000 miles.
Should you exceed the mileage cap, you could be subject to additional fees.
